In relation to critics to modern town planning theories, mainly concerned about regulations and geometry imposed to natural development of human activities in society, contemporary urban phenomenon refuse to be defined except in terms of interdisciplinary management.

Management replaced the form in discourses that define the behaviour of the complex organization that constitutes the city and its urban systems, moving the problem of geometrical correspondence between the object and its representation -the map- definitively resolved thanks to instrumental scope of computer technologies.

The project is aimed to contribute, from an interdisciplinary point of view, to the exploration to exceed the mere description and critical analysis of dynamic tangible and intangible components, in order to obtain the appropriate definition, localization and graphic representation alternatives of such urban variables that compile abundant primary information in indicators and indexes that are useful for management strategies, environmental planning and sustainable development and that show the mutual influences between society (needs, habits and culture) and environment (ability to satisfy human needs in society).

The prefigured expected results are Buenos Aires cartographic versions as transgressors of jurisdictional limits as revealers of the unique imprint of the society at issue.
